In a competitive 123 minutes game, at the Education City Stadium in Qatar, Morocco knocked Spain out of the World Cup.
The game ended in a 3:0 penalty. Morocco’s goalkeeper put up a heroic performance as he saved all three penalties from the Spanish players. This is the first time the North African country will advance to a World Cup quarter final.
Achraf Hakimi, a Spanish-born Moroccan scored the winning goal for the Moroccan team.
