Senator Ademola Adeleke and Kola Adewusi, have taken the oath of office and allegiance as the governor and deputy governor of Osun state respectively .
The Osun State Chief Judge, Adepele Ojo, administered the oath on the duo.
Present in the well-attended inauguration were dignitaries which include the People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Akwa Ibom state governor, Emmanuel Udom, Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto state, former governor of Ekiti, Ayo Fayose, Ooni of Ife amongst others.
Nephew of the governor, David Adeleke was also in attendance. This is the first time the superstar is making a public appearance after the death of his son.
