A High Court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara, and presided over by Justice Ibrahim Yusuf on Tuesday, December 13 has sentenced Abdulazeez Ismail and Ajala Oluwatimileyin to death for the murder of Blessing Olajide, a 300-level undergraduate of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
On June 2, 2021, the victim was raped and killed by the duo at her sister’s house in Tanke area of Ilorin.
