The governor of Nigeria’s Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele has made it known to the public that President Buhari will unveil the new currency on Wednesday, November 23 during the weekly Federal Executive Council Meeting.
Additionally, he said that the new notes will enter circulation before the CBN’s previously declared deadline of December 15, 2022.
This announcement was made during the Monetary Policy Committee meeting in Abuja
