The entire passengers in an 18-seater bus have been reportedly kidnapped at Anyigba-Itobe road in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
According to an eye witness, the incident occurred on Monday at approximately 4p.m. at the dangerous kidnapping location near Ochadamu region on the highway.
It was reported that the gunmen stopped the bus at gun point and evacuated the passengers to the bush. Since the incident occurred on Monday, it was reported that the security personnel and local vigilantes have been working frantically to free the abducted victims. They said kidnapping activities in the area have increased tempo since a checkpoint mounted by the Nigerian Army was dismantled.
